I had my baby a year ago, i bounced right back right away to a size 1 again. but my tummy skin is not as tight as it used to be.. its like loose skin, kind of wrinkly looking. Theres a little bit of fatty tissue there too.. not noticable but i know its there. Any ideas of how to tighten my skin and loose the fat?

I have had childern too. It is horrible that those precious little ones do such chaos to your body! You can use scar creams, do thousands of sit ups...it may help a little. The only thing that will make it go away is a tummy tuck. I have tried everyhting. My bf says it is the blessing of motherhood...some blessing eh!

Reply:I have it too from 3 kids. Its not going to go away with out a tummy tuck. Loose skin is not going to tighten back up to the way it was before you had kids. Sorry. I wish there was a way cuz if there was one other than a tummy tuck I would have done it a long time ago. Yes I hit the Gym regularly too, but that doesnt help loose skin.
Reply:Sounds like your doing the right things exerizing and stuff. I think you really only have 2 options. keep up with the gym or get a tummy tuck. I have never heard of a cream that actually works. But if you cant see it then I really wouldnt make a big deal of it unless your a bikini model getting paid for a flat stomach. Even if you are that is what airbrushing is for.

Reply:My sister-in-law had to have a tummy tuck to get her stomach to go back to looking like it did before having four kids. I think she tried everything even going to the gym everyday and that helped a little but not a lot. I would say tummy tuck is your best bet.
Reply:Your skin has lost it collogen it will never get tight again. It's your gift of moherhood. if you dont want it save up for a tummy tuck because thats the only way to get rid of skin. Or just be glad it's just a little and love it. To loose the fat you have to exercise harder and long to overcome the platue your at.
Reply:This skin is never going away without a tummy tuck. I have two children and with clothes on I look terrific and skinny, but I still know that extra skin is there. I does tighten back up a little bit over time, but not back to the way it used to be before children. Learn to live with it or get surgery.

Yes, they are designed to be permeable. So when dry they are very uncomfortable and tight. But that indicates a good fit (as long as you can still breath). They absorb water and trap a thin layer between your skin and the inside of the suit. Your body then heats up the water to work as a kind of jacuzzi to keep your body temp. up. If you get one that is comfortabme when dry, there will be too much room between you and suit when wet, and your body will not be able to properly heat the water. Good luck!

Also, in some cases, especially with slightly plumper girls, they wear skin tight clothing because it is a smaller size, one that the media tells girls is desirable. As a result, by wearing things that are in a sense, too small, they gain a much-needed ego boost because they get to wear what their idols are wearing, even if they look hidious.
This in turn sadly leads to a vicious cycle in which even more self-confidence is lost.
So yes, I agree with you that some things are best left to the imagination. I personally find it more alluring to hide rather than show. However, not everybody can understand this concept, or if not, accept it.
