I have cut large portions of the matted hair with scissors, but there is still some very thick matting up tight to his skin!!

I dont wanna run to my doctors if its just tension.. I just had a baby 3 weeks ago.. I can breathe and swallow fine.. it just feels real tight on outside of throat , kinda from jaw almost to collarbone.

Since having my two babies (12 months ago) I have worked vigourously on my figure, my stomach muscles are tight my waist is down to a size 8(uk) but I cant shift this excess skin. Will is tighten over time, or is there anything that will tighten skin. Will not have surgery. Abdominal skin stretched loads covered in stretch marks, but can handle that but not the shrivelled wrinkly look on my tum.

I consulted with four different doctors before i decided to have a tummy tuck. All they had to do was remove the extra skin. I know you said no surgery but just letting you know that is the only way to get rid of it. Don't waste your money on creams or over exercise, it wont help.

If anyone can give me any help here it'd be great. I have a problem with pulling back my foreskin and I saw the doctor etc etc and did the pull it back a little more each day etc etc.. which worked great and I can now retract to behind the head when I'm NOT erect.
When I'm erect its not so much the foreskin that is tight but the skin that attaches the top of the foreskin to the penis, just behind the glands.
I'm sure that was explained ok.... ummm That bit of skin seems a little "short".
I am a virgin, and have a girlfriend, I have mentioned it to her and (by trying myself) I seem to be ok when I use a little "Lube"...
Can anyone offer any tips for this? - is it possible to stretch that bit of skin slightly.
Any help please. And when the time comes,.we will stay safe in bed ;) Thank you.

Okay, what you have isn't phimosis and regardless of what anyone says you don't need a circumcision. It seems that your frenulum (that connective skin attaching the foreskin to the head) is short or tight. That's a different problem entirely.
I don't know if you can stretch that skin or not but it's worth a try. I'm sure over time it'll loosen up as you work your foreskin further back gradually. And if using lube helps then by all means use lube for the moment. I don't know if you'd want it cut off, as many guys find that spot particularly sensitive and some circumcised guys have it removed and are jealous (so I've read elsewhere).

Should I be concerned about my uncircumscised son's penis, which our practitioner mentioned has a tight skin?
I had chosen not to have my one male child circumscised. He's 4 1/2 now. However, without any men around us to compare with or consult with, I'm wondering about what the practitioner said at his last well-child check-up. Should I really be instructing my son on manipulating the skin, pulling it back, or should the whole thing be left alone? The truth is that we never think much about it. Will it not be right when he grows older if he doesn't play around with it now and practice pulling the skin back? Any advice or experience would be helpful. I found a site, which I'm not sure if I can find again, that said that the foreskin really doesn't retract fully until late teens, early twenties. Before then, it should not be forced back. The "tightness" of the foreskin and the "small" opening is a safety shield against germs. It is normal for the tip to be a little bit pink. To help avoid infections, make sure he doesn't have too many bubble baths, as the detergent can cause irritation.
I really think a lot of doctors are not well educated regarding the workings of the foreskin and are too quick to recommend they have it snipped.
In my opinion the foreskin retracting so late could've been the body's way of ensuring the young man didn't have sex until he was "fully matured", when the foreskin retracted fully. That's my theory anyway.

I was worried about my 2 year old's foreskin not retracting like one doctor said it should, so I did some research on the net. I found a site, which I'm not sure if I can find again, that said that the foreskin really doesn't retract fully until late teens, early twenties. Before then, it should not be forced back. The "tightness" of the foreskin and the "small" opening is a safety shield against germs. It is normal for the tip to be a little bit pink. To help avoid infections, make sure he doesn't have too many bubble baths, as the detergent can cause irritation.
I really think a lot of doctors are not well educated regarding the workings of the foreskin and are too quick to recommend they have it snipped.
In my opinion the foreskin retracting so late could've been the body's way of ensuring the young man didn't have sex until he was "fully matured", when the foreskin retracted fully. That's my theory anyway.

Reply:No, circumcision is not your only option. There are many options, but there are also a couple things you must take care of first though.
Before you do anything to remedy your phimosis (a condition where the foreskin opening is too tight/narrow to be retracted fully and easily) you must let your penis heal up. You need to wash the foreskin at least once a day during a shower/bath with mild soap and water. You should also gently dry the area with a towel afterwards. Try to keep the area dry throughout the day if possible. Also, using moisturizing lotion or lotion with aloe vera can help the healing process. You should refrain from doing anything that would move your foreskin a lot - any sexual activity (sex, masturbation, etc). Your foreskin should heal up in a week or two. You don't really need to use antibiotic creams, as that could kill the normal flora of the area and make things worse by causing an imbalance.
Once you're fully healed up, then you should try to remedy your phimosis. First try stretching exercises. In one stretching exercise, take two fingers and kind of hook each finger in two opposite sides of the foreskin opening; then stretch the opening in opposite directions (like increasing its radius) as far as possible without pain or discomfort. Stretch and hold for a few second, then let it relax for a few seconds, then repeat the process for a few minutes each day for several weeks to a month. It's best to do this exercise right after a shower/bath when the skin is most flexible (see link 1 for more info).
If this doesn't work or do much after a month, then you should ask a doctor about prescription creams. In one article, these creams are the most cost-effective treatment a doctor can give you (see link 2).
Lastly, worse comes to worst, and the creams also don't work, then you should probably consider surgical options. Top 10 Reasons Men Don't Want Sex
Men always want sex. Right? Wrong. I have often heard the sexual partner of a man say, "My mate doesn't want to have sex. What's wrong with him? Don't all men want sex?" That's a common misunderstanding and it's based on the mistaken belief that men are wired to want sex most times they can get it.
Here's a list of ten common reasons why men may not want sex:
1. Medications. Antidepressants (SSRI-type) and antihypertensives (blood pressure medication) are often the culprit when a man has a lowered interest in sexual activity. These can also cause sexual dysfunction.
2. Lack of sleep. When a man is in his teens or twenties, the opportunity to have sex will often overwhelm the desire to sleep. This is often true also when a relationship is brand new. But, as people and relationships age, sex can lose its compelling nature and a good night's rest can be quite tempting.
3. Hormonal levels. The most important physiological stimulant of sexual desire is testosterone. Many men are mistakenly sent to have a blood test for total testosterone when low libido is the issue. While that information might be interesting to know to have a full picture of a man's hormonal levels, knowing the free testosterone level is much more relevant to how much sex he desires. Also, too much prolactin and SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) can suppress sexual desire. So when a hormonal reason is suspected, these are the blood tests to have (in order of importance): free testosterone, prolactin, SHBG, and total testosterone.
4. Identity issues. When men feel uncertain about their role in the world, their desire for sex can dwindle. Depression may be linked to this, but isn't always. Identity issues can crop up when: he has issues at work or is out of work, faces the death of an important family member, becomes disheartened about a formerly held strong belief, and questions his understanding of his own sexual orientation -- to name a few.
5. Turn-off to aspects of the sex. Some men will turn away from sex rather than have sex that is not fulfilling to them. Lack of fulfillment can be related to specific things that his partner does during sex or how he experiences his partner's body. He may feel criticized or treated unfairly. It may just seem like too much "work." He may have sexual interests that he knows or fears his partner may not share.
6. Disagreements with one's mate. When there are interpersonal difficulties between the members of a couple, many men will avoid sex or just plain refuse their partner's advances. Some men punish their partner by withholding sex, but for others it's not a matter of punishment, they just cannot muster sexual feelings when there are unresolved conflicts.
7. Stress. Stress comes in many forms and may stem from: financial difficulties, personal or family member illness, challenges at work, parenting dilemmas, and issues involving extended family members. Of course, there are many more sources of stress.
8. Masturbation that replaces partnered sex. This is a hot topic since the advent of the Internet. It seems to some researchers in this field that many men who might not have sought out other sources of visual sexual stimulation (magazines, videos, movies) have found their way to locate sexual imagery online. For some couples, this can be a dilemma, particularly when the viewing of the images leads to masturbation, that then leads to less partnered sex. Less partnered sex feels like a blessing to some, but to others it is a frustrating and disappointing outcome.
9. Fear of intimacy. Some men have relationships with their romantic partner that resemble that of siblings. The contact that they experience in their relationship takes the intimacy level up so high that adding sexual intimacy on top of that feels like an overload. Though it may be difficult to imagine that a person could have too much intimacy, it is the hunch of many sex experts today that this is a very common cause of declining sexual frequency in couples.
10. Difficulties functioning sexually. Many men who have an erection dysfunction or believe that they ejaculate too soon -- or too late (if at all), will avoid having sex with their partner. Rather than face what feels like another experience of "failure" in our performance-obssessed culture, these men choose to avoid being sexual at all.
When partnered with a man who does not want sex, the optimal path does not include criticism, belittling, or slurs on his manhood. Armed with accurate information and professional help, most of these causes of sexual avoidance can be greatly improved and in many cases removed altogether.

What Mary said, a nurse, well, she works in a hospital or clinic. The only reason guys would go there to remove their foreskin is because they want to; of course they're going to be satisfied. Reply:No, circumcision is not your only option. There are many options, but there are also a couple things you must take care of first though.
Before you do anything to remedy your phimosis (a condition where the foreskin opening is too tight/narrow to be retracted fully and easily) you must let your penis heal up. You need to wash the foreskin at least once a day during a shower/bath with mild soap and water. You should also gently dry the area with a towel afterwards. Try to keep the area dry throughout the day if possible. Also, using moisturizing lotion or lotion with aloe vera can help the healing process. You should refrain from doing anything that would move your foreskin a lot - any sexual activity (sex, masturbation, etc). Your foreskin should heal up in a week or two. You don't really need to use antibiotic creams, as that could kill the normal flora of the area and make things worse by causing an imbalance.
Once you're fully healed up, then you should try to remedy your phimosis. First try stretching exercises. In one stretching exercise, take two fingers and kind of hook each finger in two opposite sides of the foreskin opening; then stretch the opening in opposite directions (like increasing its radius) as far as possible without pain or discomfort. Stretch and hold for a few second, then let it relax for a few seconds, then repeat the process for a few minutes each day for several weeks to a month. It's best to do this exercise right after a shower/bath when the skin is most flexible (see link 1 for more info).
If this doesn't work or do much after a month, then you should ask a doctor about prescription creams. In one article, these creams are the most cost-effective treatment a doctor can give you (see link 2).
Lastly, worse comes to worst, and the creams also don't work, then you should probably consider surgical options. This doesn't necessarily mean circumcision, as there are procedures that remove less foreskin, are less painful, have a quicker recovery time, and are cheaper (see link 3). Also, there are varying degrees of circumcision ranging from partial circumcisions that remove almost no foreskin (only the tight part of the foreskin that's causing problems) to removal of the foreskin and even a little bit of shaft skin (see link 4).
See the remaining links for more info on phimosis and stuff. Chances are, if you don't want a circumcision, you won't need one - there are so many alternatives. If you do keep your foreskin, keep it as clean as possible, as that can help prevent future problems and even decrease the possibility of contracting some diseases (see last link).

Tight skin during dance practice?
today was the first day of dance for the musical and I noticed the skin on my thumbs was red and swollen and when I pressed down it tingled a little, and the same with my other fingers but less obvious. I ran them under warm water and held them over my head but nothing helped. They still feel enflamed and sort of hot.
The only thing different is that I used the schools soap to wash my hands once, but that was about 11:00 and it didn't start until 2:30. I haven't eaten anything different, so I don't know.
What is causing this? Is it normal? How can I prevent it? Thanks!

17 Weeks pregnant and the skin feels so tight on my belly?
Has anyone else had this problem. I am using the bodyshop body butter and keep lathering it on so my skin always feels supple but it just feels so tight.
I do have quite a small build but I really dont want to get any stretchmarks.
Any suggestions or advice would be great!

That's perfectly normal - during pregnancy, the skin on your stomach will be stretched well beyond its capabilities. I would switch to a cream that is very high in Vitamin E, as this is the vitamin that restores moisture to your skin.
BUT - be warned, there is very little you can do to prevent stretch marks. If you're destined to get them, you'll get them regardless of how much cream you put on.

*On a side note and totally of the subject: Don't use the Cocoa Butter on JUST your tummy. Rub it on your boobs, thighs, and butt area too. Those areas can grow and "stretch" too. ;-)

Reply:hey I'm coming upto 24weeks pregnant and my stomachs becoming tigther all the time as the baby grows and the skin stretches....I did use palmers stretchmarks prevention cream as like u I am terrified of getting stretchmarks but I've stopped now because it isn't cheap and I have been told that vitamin E moisturisers are the best to sue so I've got one from Asda..there own brand (not the smartprice lol) and its great..make sure you use your cream on your sides...thighs..bum..belly and boobs as stretchmarks come there too!! I think tho that if your goin to get stretchmarks you'll get them! my mum doesn't have any just a few white ones on her bum (from me she says lol) so I'm hopinh i'm the same...I do have a few white ones on the inside of my thighs..boyfriend says I haven't but I know they r there!!! good luck!

at forever 21, the clothes aren't made with the best quality though. i'm not sure about wet seal, but american eagle is fairly well-made.

Put them on inside out. Get some straight pins and pull them as tight as you want, fastening them with the pins as you go(you'll need a lot). Take them off, and sew along the pins. You can't sew the waistband, though, not unless you have an industrial machine, so I wouldn't take them in too much at the top, but ease downrom the width of the waistband, otherwise, it'll look really weird when you wear a belt. DO NOT CUT UNTIL YOU SEW. You may have to unpick.

Reply:Hey there, I totally agree. I am an oversized women (I hope that was for lack of better term). I can't stand it when plus size people wear skin tight clothing either. I guess they don't have mirrors in their houses. I think it's just in their heads that they can look as good as someone smaller. They haven't come to the realization that there are some things you just can't wear when you are a bigger person. Some women think they look sexier with tighter clothing.

I had my baby a year ago, i bounced right back right away to a size 1 again. but my tummy skin is not as tight as it used to be.. its like loose skin, kind of wrinkly looking. Theres a little bit of fatty tissue there too.. not noticable but i know its there. Any ideas of how to tighten my skin and loose the fat?

I have had childern too. It is horrible that those precious little ones do such chaos to your body! You can use scar creams, do thousands of sit ups...it may help a little. The only thing that will make it go away is a tummy tuck. I have tried everyhting. My bf says it is the blessing of motherhood...some blessing eh!

But if you cant see it then I really wouldnt make a big deal of it unless your a bikini model getting paid for a flat stomach. Even if you are that is what airbrushing is for.

Or just be glad it's just a little and love it. To loose the fat you have to exercise harder and long to overcome the platue your at.

Yes, they are designed to be permeable. So when dry they are very uncomfortable and tight. But that indicates a good fit (as long as you can still breath). They absorb water and trap a thin layer between your skin and the inside of the suit. Your body then heats up the water to work as a kind of jacuzzi to keep your body temp. up. If you get one that is comfortabme when dry, there will be too much room between you and suit when wet, and your body will not be able to properly heat the water. Good luck!

Also, in some cases, especially with slightly plumper girls, they wear skin tight clothing because it is a smaller size, one that the media tells girls is desirable. As a result, by wearing things that are in a sense, too small, they gain a much-needed ego boost because they get to wear what their idols are wearing, even if they look hidious.
This in turn sadly leads to a vicious cycle in which even more self-confidence is lost.
So yes, I agree with you that some things are best left to the imagination. I personally find it more alluring to hide rather than show. However, not everybody can understand this concept, or if not, accept it.
