Reply:Avoid smoking. That'll wrinkle you up before your time.
Reply:Do I have news for you?!!! I have been searching for the same thing and came across Dr. Weil's Mushroom Serum. It is sold at Origins counters. It is excellent. It keeps your skin free of wrinkles and other problems. I absolutely love this product.
Reply:Drink LOTS of water everyday, stay regular, keep your skin clean, always wear sunscreen, don't smoke, and try not to squint your eyes too much to avoid those lines on your forehead. Also try microderm abrasion that you can buy and do at home.
Reply::-) SPF 30+

why dont you take some sort of skin vitamen? Like Vit E or A. Plus a really good skin products (cleanse, tone, moisturise) never hurt anyone.

Reply:use some creams before you go out in the sun!
Reply:I won't say stay out of the sun, let's face it we have to go outdoors sometime.

Use sunblock of at least SPF 30 UVA/UVB sun protection. Also, I have been reading lots of studies regarding the use of Vitamin C products which is an antioxidant and helps with sun exposure and regenerates skin cells (check out Cellex-C or SkinCeuticals lines). I have been using SkinCeuticals Vit. C serum and very happy with the results.
Reply:Drink a lot of water, don't smoke or drink alcohol, use a high SPF sunscreen when out in the sun, exfoliate and moisturize your skin and exercise so your skin stays toned.
Reply:once you start using those creams you will have to use them forever. Keeping in good shape, eating healthy all the time and drinking lots and lots of water will help keep your skin in good shape. If you smoke Quit..It will age your skin really fast. Did I say drink a lot of water??
Reply:the problem is collagen. you need to feed your body the proper ingredients to maintain its ability to produce collagen. vitamin c is the most important thing, along with the amino acids proline and lysine. as far as topicals go, derma e has some good products and one of the best things ive tried is g5 organic silica gel. good luck, remember to drink lots of pure water and get good sleep.
Reply:I'm 23 as well, the best way to prevent wrinkles ( or postpone them, we all get wrinkles one day unless we get surgery) is to develop a good skin care regime. I don't know what kind of skin you have, but if you happen to have dry skin, mosturizer is very important.

Here are the steps of a good skin care regime:

Morning

1. Clense: This is the first step. It clears away all of the residue/oil from your skin and gives you a fresh palatte to work with. Most women only spend 10-20 seconds clensing, try for a little longer, to get everything off your skin.

2. Tone- if needed. Depending on the toner. Good for people with oily skin, or those who wasnt to make sure that all of the residue is off from the clenser.

3. SPF: This is VERY important. Get 15 or higher.

4. Serum: This is up to you, but serums tend to promote anti-aging. Consult before using.

5. Mosturize- The use of this depends on how dry your skin really is. Most women put too much on,for people with a tendency twords more oily skin, lots of mosturizer can clog pores, but for people with extreamly dry skin, lots of mosturizer can be a godsend.

6. Eyecream: A good eyecream is essential. The skin around your eyes is very susestible to damage, and is one of the first places that signs of aging appear. A good eye cream can protect these areas.

Evening

1. Clense

2. Tone

3. Serum

4. Eyecream

5. Nightcream- Helps repair the skin during the night while you are sleeping.

Weekly

1.Exfoliate: This helps sluff away dead skin cells and gives the skin a radiante, healthy glow.

2. Mask ( optional)

Every 1-2 monthes

1.Facial at a spa: If you can afford this, it is an excellent addition to your skin care regime. A facial is a more heavy duty verison of the regime here. Also it will include extractions, and other more professionally does services. A facial is a good time to talk to an ethstician about what your skin concerns are and what you should be using.

Skin care is an investment, sometimes a pricey one, so before you think about gettinh those new shoes, you might want to think about stocking up on skincare instead. For the girl who is just starting out, I have devised a week by week plan, so you don’t have to whole hog right away and can save yourself some money, and remember, always pay attention to your skin type.

Week One: The bare basics

1. Clenser

2. Toner ( if needed, check with an expert, skin that is dry most likely does not need a toner)

3. Mosturizer ( Another if needed, if your skin is very dry, for example it is flakey or tight in your t-zone, your skin is dry, if your skin tends to be more oily, you probably don’t need mozturizer, as this will promote more oil)

* Don’t forget an SPF!!

Week Two: More basics:

1. Eye cream: Usually applied twice per day, this protects the very delicate skin around the eyes, and will help with fine lines that have also formed, some even help with puffiness/dark circles.

2. Night cream: This essential helps heal your skin during the night when your skin does most of it’s natrual repair.

3. Exfoliator: Good for sluffing away dead skin cells once a week, be very careful of which you buy, especially if you have sensetive skin. Do your homework when buying this and pay attention to labels.

Week Three: Not essential, but great to have:

1.Mask: For me, a mask in an essential. My skin care routine doesn’t seem complete until I have a mask on my shelf, but it is not a general essential.

A mask is a nice thing, there are many different kinds of masks, some that sooth, some that control oil, some that clarify etc. Look at what your skin needs and buy accordingly.

2. Hand balm/lotion: Protects the hands

3. Foot lotion: Same thing for feet, great for a day of wearing abrasive shoes, or sandles, or a day out in the sun.

Generally with skin, pay attention to your skin type whether dry, oily, normal, or combonation. Soap and watrer just dosn’t cut it. Soap is harsh on skin and has a tendecy to dry it out. If you have major skin concerns, such as acne, don’t go to a comsmetic counter for your ansewer, go to your dermatologist. If you can, keep your skin routine simple. Gently mostuireize which helps get rid of makeup, grim, pollution and oil on your skin, tone, which helps seal the pores (mostureizing leaves your skin exposed and vulnurable and exposed because it gets rid of your natural oils) and finally mosturize. The the level of mostuireizer is up to you and your skin type, personally I have dry skin, so I tend to lay it on in the winter. Once a week or so exfoliate to get rid of dead skin cells. You don’t have to get an expensive exfoliator, but get one that will be gentle on your skin, especilly if you have sensative skin. Salt and sugar scrubs can cause damange and redness to your skin.

Recently I was looking through the pamphlet for a posh salon in my hometown. For $40, they will give you what they call a mini-facial. This treatment contains clensing, toning, exfoliating and a masque. You might say 40 dollars is not bad for a posh spa treatment, but it can get pretty expensive, considering that two out of four things are absolutly essential EVERYDAY to maintain good skin, and one is essential 2-3 times a week. After reading through this pamphelt, I went into my bathroom to see that I had all the ingridients sitting by my sink for my own ‘mini-facial’ everyday, everything being for bought for well under $40 from the beginning.

Spas can be pricey, and are usually best left to those ladies who have the dough to spend there, but there are a few things that if you are going to lay out the cash, you should spend your money on. One thing to not spend money on would be a facial such as I have mentioned above. What IS worth the money to spend on is procedures that you can not do, this includes extractions, peels and anything having to do with lazers. Before going to a spa, it is good to consult with a dermatologist, especially if you have skin concerns such as sensetivity, rosecea, or acne, sometimes they might steer you away from the spa and proscribe you something that will benefit your skin. When dealing with skin, it’s generally best left to the professionals.

Hope this helped!

Reply:Keep hydrated! Try Fuzz drinks, as they are loaded with vitamins that are good for you! Stay away from sunscreen as there are chemicals in there %26amp; only God knows what else! Organic makeup will protect your skin from the elements. Aloe gel keeps skin soft %26amp; smooth. I hope this helps.
