Reply:Because they were all those slutty girls in high school that were so into themselves, and then never went to college, so they are low life pieces of trash that can't get a job using their brains.

Anyway, I don't think they dress like that. I do notice that they are really caddy. I have 2 good friends that do that and they always complain about that.
Reply:Wow in 25 years I haven't had not one hairdresser like you described!!! Oh and a GOOD hair stylist does use his/her brains. It's a talent to make ppl good look good.
Reply:Maybe you should start visiting salons instead of beauty shops where they employ hairdressers instead of professional Stylist. And the people with the shallow remarks about them not having brains should go and try the field for themselves. You have to pass a written exam as well as a practical and some states require that you have a certain gpa before being able to enter into their curriculum. Don't be judgemental unless you've tried it and accomplished it yourself. And as far as the cigarette thing goes, I don't smoke but I know plenty of doctors and lawyers and educators who do. So don't make it seem like the only people who smoke cigarettes are hairdressers........... but with some clients being so picky and so fussy, sometimes I could smoke a cigarette after dealing with all the complaining and whining from people who don't know the first thing about hair, doing something dumb at home and then running to us to fix their mess. But we are the ones without a brain, right?? By the way, my gpa in high school was 3.8 and I graduated at the top of my class in cosmetology school after 9 months. I also have a bachelors in nursing. I just think being a stylist is more fun and not as demanding. My hours are better and I make more $$ and I get to see my children now instead of always being at work. And I can wear whatever I want........................
