When you wear a rashguard, should it be skin tight?

i bought a rashguard and i'm not sure if it's suppose to be extremely tight on your body or can it be a little loose? i bought a rashguard long sleeve and everything is pretty tight except the back where its a tiny bit baggy. it this okay for swimming?

Yeah, that sounds fine. If you're using it for surfing, it does need to fit pretty close to the skin to prevent drag both from wind and water. But be comfortable! Remember to rinse out your swimwear after use - otherwise they will lose their elasticity over time from the salt exposure.
