Sore pealing skin tight splitting do have eczema current medication not working?
i use "Clobetasol 0.05" it works great...i have had eczema for 5 years and it gets really bad...i also use Mimex Cream as a lotion which helps keep it in check . ask your dermatologist for these as you need a prescription ...good luck

for moisturzing use Cetaphil....does not burn works great
Reply:Ask your doctor to change the medication. And get a proper diagnosis!
Reply:There's a product called dermamed that does wonders for eczema. I use it for my son. It works better than cortisone without any nasty side effects. Its completely natural. Apply 3 or 4 times a day and your eczema will be cleared up in about 3 days. I'll get you the link to where you can purchase some.

I used the all purpose one in the green bottle, but there is one especially for eczema as well.

Try to find out what's causing the eczema as well. My sons was caused by fabric softener, cats, and chlorine pools. If we avoid those things it doesn't bother him. Sometimes eczema can be caused by a build up of toxins in the body system also. Start cleansing your body on the inside out. You can purchase food enzymes to help your body absorb nutrients better as well as take omega 3,6,9. You can also take acidophollis which will also promote healthy digestion and vitamin absorption. I did all these things with the advice of the herbalist at the health food store. My sons eczema hasn't bothered him in over a year. Hope this helps.
Reply:Go back to your GP. Ask if he will give you Betnovate cream, but only use it sparingly as its strong
Reply:Use Aveeno or Eucerin brand lotions, non-scented, moisturizing soaps (like Dove-Unscented) and you can use Elidel or a steroid cream...you have to have a prescription for those.

Don't shower/bathe too often or it will just irritate your skin more.
Reply:It depends on what medication you are taking. It sounds like you just may have dry chapped skin. Try some coccobutter, it should help it in a couple of days. If not you can switch to over the counter hydrocortisone. This is the first line cure for eczema but it may take a week or so to full work.
Reply:You need to go back to your doctor for different medication.
Reply:I suspect food allergies. Try keeping a journal to see if it gets worse after eating certain foods. I am allergic to wheat eggs and soy and my skin cleared up when I eliminated them
Reply:Bro,pl show to a dermatologist now.
Reply:I have eczema - I find that Betnovate works a treat but use it sparingly as it is steroid based.

Also if u have it really bad, a few minutes under a sun bed will help dramatically due to the UVA rays.
Reply:eczema is caused from stress or when yer alergic to someting. Some times its in the skin and its triggered by change in body temp. i have eczema. its very hard to get rid of
Reply:Me too,

I have spent a lot of money on rx creams and ointments, they help a little.

My Dr. told me to start putting vaseline on every night. When I do that the next day all is well, when I don't it's tough.

He said his med school roommate is now a dermatologist and this is what he tells all of his eczema patients. So.. give that a try.

Seems hokey, but works
Reply:Go back to your GP and see if he can change your medication or if not perhaps he needs to refer you to a dermatologist at your local hospital who will perhaps find out what is causing it. Good luck hope you find the relief you need.
Reply:might have impatigo do to docs
Reply:Have you missed some words out,you sound like your in a terrible hurry!
